We have a vacancy for an Branch Accountant with a vehicle dealership in Nelspruit.

The role requires some of the following duties:

• Interprets, compiles, and maintains automotive accounting information for the dealership.
• Maintain monthly vehicle inventory and flooring records and reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly financial statements for submission to manufacturer.
• Prepare monthly bank and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Assist with financial activities such as preparation of yearly budgets, cash flow, purchases.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or similar Diploma in Accountancy.
• Basic understanding of all corporate taxes.
• Must have experience in motor industry and with vehicle dealership Accounting.
• Sound knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles.
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience as Accountant.
• Numeracy accuracy and diligence and good computer skills.
• Supervision experience.
• Clear criminal record.
• Valid SA Driver’s license.
• Grade 12 or equivalent.
