We have an exciting new vacancy for a Branch Accountant for a company within the trucking and commercial industry in Johannesburg, East Rand.

Duties:

Prepare accurate IFRS-compliant financial reports, manage fixed assets, debtors and creditors, perform reconciliations, oversee stock control, branch risk and expenses, ensure accurate general ledger and journals, monitor cash sales and stock counts, support junior staff, ensure policy compliance, and recommend process improvements.

Requirements:

• BCom Degree in Accounting or similar.
• Minimum 3 to 4 years' experience as a branch accountant within the motor industry.
• High Attention to details and Accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
• Team Player
• Confident and proactive approach — anticipates issues and requirements.
• Code 8 driver’s licence
• Clean criminal record
• Grade 12/ matric
