We have an exciting new vacancy for an ERP System Software Assistant for a company within the trucking and commercial industry in Johannesburg.

Duties:

Provide application and ERP support by maintaining and enhancing systems including SAP, Evolve and Xperteck, delivering 1st/2nd level user support, logging and prioritising calls, troubleshooting and resolving recurring issues, contributing to the help desk knowledge base, supporting system implementations, documenting processes, maintaining data integrity, monitoring critical systems, managing suppliers, and continuously improving systems and support processes through clear communication and collaboration.

Requirements:

• Must have experience within the trucking and commercial industry.
• Diploma / Certificate in Information Technology: System support or similar.
• Must have experience with SAP system (Hana).
• Implemented an ERP from beginning stages or been a part of the process.
• Solid experience of supporting and maintaining production computer systems in a customer facing support environment of at least 5 years.
• Experience in database systems, reporting and query tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills at all levels of the business with technical and non-technical staff.
• Effective time management skills and ability to prioritise work assignments.
• Able to build and maintain business relationships.
• Desire to learn and grow within the organisation.
• Clean criminal record.
• Valid driver’s licence.
• Grade 12/Matric.
